    Is there a free GST billing software plan?

    Yes. Jgene Billing's Free plan is free forever — no card needed. It includes 50 bills and invoices a month, 5 quotations a month, up to 50 products and 25 customers, suppliers and purchases (with stock updates), recording customer payments, GST-ready billing, the expense tracker and the dashboard. Invoices on the Free plan carry a small "Made with Jgene Billing" footer.

    How much do the paid plans cost?

    Standard is ₹499/month or ₹4,999/year, Business is ₹699/month or ₹6,999/year and Enterprise is ₹999/month or ₹9,999/year. Paying yearly saves up to 17% compared with paying monthly.

    Can I pay monthly?

    Yes. Every paid plan can be paid monthly or yearly through Razorpay, and renews automatically on the cycle you choose. Monthly plans have exactly the same features as yearly ones.

    What do I get when I upgrade from Free to Standard?

    Standard raises the limit to 3,000 bills and invoices a year, removes the limits on products, customers and quotations, adds low-stock email alerts, and removes the Jgene branding from your invoices.

    What is the difference between Standard and Business?

    Business adds unlimited bills and invoices, analytics and the Reports Center (sales, tax, stock, customer and expense reports), advanced inventory, Excel/CSV import, recurring expenses with CSV export, one-click conversion of quotations into invoices, customer balances and statements with payment reminders, invoice sharing by link, WhatsApp and email, and up to 3 users with roles.

    What does Enterprise add?

    Enterprise adds unlimited team members with an activity log of who did what, multiple branches with per-branch and combined reports (stock is shared across branches), daily backups you can download, and read-only API access for connecting other software.

    Are suppliers, purchases and customer payments included in every plan?

    Yes, on every plan including Free. Record bills from your suppliers and choose which items go into inventory (stock and cost are updated for you), and record payments from customers: each one pays their oldest unpaid invoices first, and anything extra is kept as credit. Customer balances, statements and the purchases report come with Business.

    Does Jgene Billing work outside India?

    Yes. Pick your country when you sign up and Jgene Billing uses your currency, number and date formats, and your tax: GST with CGST, SGST and IGST in India, VAT, GST, HST or sales tax elsewhere. Plan prices are shown for your country and in your currency, and payments are handled securely by Razorpay. Outside India, support is by WhatsApp or a scheduled Google Meet call.

    Can I try the paid features before paying?

    Yes — explore the live demo, pre-loaded with sample data, to try every paid feature with no signup required. When you're ready, start on the Free plan with your own data and upgrade any time; everything you've added stays as it is.

    What happens when I reach a limit on the Free plan?

    You'll see how much of your monthly allowance you've used as you go. Once it's used up you can't create more until the next month or until you upgrade — everything you've already created stays available.
