    How we protect your account, your business data and the documents you sign.

    Your J Gene account

    • One central sign-in service for every J Gene product.
    • Sessions are kept in secure, HTTP-only cookies that page scripts cannot read.
    • Sign-in requests are protected against cross-site request forgery (CSRF).
    • Sign-in redirects are checked so you are only ever returned to trusted J Gene addresses.

    J Gene Billing

    • Each business's data is isolated from every other business at the database level.
    • Access to your records is limited to the people in your own business account.

    J Gene Sign

    • Signers can be verified with a one-time email code or an access code you set.
    • Codes are stored only as salted, slow hashes, never in plain text.
    • Every action on a document is recorded in an audit trail, including IP address and device.
    • Audit events are hash-chained, and the SHA-256 fingerprint of each completed file is recorded.
    • Every completed document comes with a Certificate of Completion.
